3rd Level – Serve

God does not only want us to receive from Him but also to give. Living Faith exist to serve others within the church, our community, and around the world. Serving is demonstrating God’s love to others by meeting their needs and healing their hurts in Jesus name. Each time you reach out in love to others you are serving them. Living Faith does not only desire to meet the spiritual needs of others but also the emotional, relational, and physical needs. We will accomplish this by developing an after-school center, mentoring, prevention and intervention outreach, community development, our culturally relevant church, and much more.
Living Faith exist to give hope to the lost and hurting through the good news of Jesus Christ. This is what is called evangelism. It is every Christians responsibility to share the Good News wherever we go. We are to tell the whole world of Christ’s life, His death on the cross, His resurrection, and His promise to return. Someday, each of us will give an account to God regarding how seriously we took this responsibility. But evangelism is more than our responsibility, it is our great privilege. We are invited to be apart of bringing people into God’s eternal family. I don’t know of a more significant cause to give one’s life to. If you knew the cure for cancer, I’m sure you would do everything you could to get the word out. It would save millions of lives. But you already know something better: You’ve been given the Good News (Gospel) of eternal life to share, which is the greatest new of all! As long as there is one person in the world who does not know Christ, the Church has a command to keep growing. Growth is not optional. It is commanded by Jesus. The bottom line is that Jesus would have rather died than to live without you and the rest of the world. The only reason why He has not come back yet is because He is patient and waiting for more people to spread His Gospel so that more people can be saved.
